Set WAN Access

In some complicated network environments, you need to set a static IP address or a domain name and ports for HikCentral Professional to enable it to access the SYS via WAN (Wide Area Network). For example, if the SYS is in a local area network, and you need to visit the platform via the Web Client or Control Client running in WAN, you should enable WAN access and set a static IP address or a domain name and ports for HikCentral Professional.

  1. In the top left corner of Home page, select > Basic Management > System.
  2. Select Network > WAN Access on the left.
  3. Switch on Access WAN to enable the WAN access function.
  4. Enter the IP address of the server for WAN access.
  5. Enter a static IP address or a domain name of the server for WAN access.
  6. Set the client communication port.
    HTTP

    Used for the Web Client and Control Client to access the platform via HTTP. By default, it is 80.

    HTTPS
    Used for the Web Client and Control Client to access the platform via HTTPS. By default, it is 443.
    Cluster Port Segment

    Used for translating the network address and mapping the platform to access via WAN. By default, the internal network port is 18020, and you should specify the port of WAN.

    Note:

    If the port is conflicted, you can view the exception on > Basic Management > Maintenance.

  7. If you adopt generic events to integrate HikCentral Professional with external sources, you need to set the TCP port, UDP port, HTTP port, and HTTPS port for receiving the TCP, UDP, HTTP, and/or HTTPS data packages.
    Note:

    For setting the generic event, refer to Add Generic Event.

  8. Optional: For the platform with a Remote Site Management module, you can set the port to receive the registration from the Remote Site.
    Note:

    This configuration item is only available for the Central System with a Remote Site Management module based on the License you purchased.

  9. If you need to manage devices accessed via ISUP, you can set the ports for these ISUP devices, such as the registration port, alarm receiving port, and so on.
    ISUP Alarm Receiving Port (TCP)

    Used for receiving alarms from ISUP devices via TCP. By default, it is 7332.

    ISUP Alarm Receiving Port (UDP)

    Used for receiving alarms from ISUP devices via UCP. By default, it is 7334.

    Note:

    If the ISUP ports are disabled on the SYS, the ISUP related ports will not be displayed on the WAN Access page.

  10. Set other ports.
    RTSP Streaming Port(TCP)

    Used for RTSP streaming. By default, it is 554.

    Web Client Streaming Port(TCP)

    Used for streaming on the Web Client. By default, it is 559.

    Port for Downloading Files from ISUP Devices(TCP)

    Used for downloading files from ISUP devices. By default, it is 8555.

    ISUP Registration Port(TCP)

    Used for the ISUP devices registering to the platform. By default, it is 7660.

    Streaming Media Signaling Port(TCP)

    Used for getting the streaming media signaling. By default, it is 7661.

    ISUP Streaming Port (via Plugin) (TCP)

    Used for getting the stream from ISUP devices via the Plugin. By default, it is 16000.

    ISUP Port for Two-Way Audio (TCP)

    Used for two-way audio between the platform and ISUP devices. By default, it is 16001.

    ISUP Port for Broadcasting(TCP)

    Used for broadcasting. By default, it is 16003.

    Local Picture Storage Port on Server(TCP)

    Used for storing local pictures on the server. By default, it is 6123.

    Local File Picture Storage Port on Server(TCP)

    Used for storing local files on the server. By default, it is 6203.

    Broadcast Signaling Port(TCP)

    Used for broadcast signaling. By default, it is 7662.

    IP Speaker Registration Port(TCP)

    Used for IP speaker registration. By default, it is 8877.

    IP Speaker Communication Port(TCP)

    Used for IP speaker communication. By default, it is 10015.

    Guidance Terminal Event Port(TCP)

    Used for guidance terminal events. By default, it is 8686.

    Schedule Releasing Port(TCP)

    Used for schedule releasing. By default, it is 6471.

    RTMP Streaming Port

    Used for RTMP streaming. By default, it is 1935.

    HLS Streaming Port

    Used for HLS streaming. By default, it is 83.

  11. Click Save.
